Invitation to the SGIA Show & Stahls’ Heat Printing Zone

The SGIA Expo 2011 will be in New Orleans October 19-21 with hundreds of exhibitors showcasing the latest technology. There will be numerous educational zones on the show floor, including the Digital Apparel Zone in booth 3125 and the Screen Printed Apprarel Training Zone in booth 3319.

In booth 3625 you’ll find Stahls’ Heat Printing Zone, featuring industry experts from around the world offering free, live, hands-on and how-to demonstrations. You’ll see the Magic of Heat Printing unfold, right before your eyes.  From personalizing shoes with a heat press, adding bling to garments, creating artwork, and heat printing hats, to identifying global trends in the industry, there is something for everyone in this zone. On Wednesday October 19 and Thursday October 20 at 1:15pm (CST) Executive Chairman of GroupeSTAHL, and heat printing pioneer, Ted Stahl will host Innovation LIVE -a question and answer session where you can glean information from his 40+ years in the heat printing industry.

Education on Tap at FESPA Hamburg this Month

Many, many exciting things happening right now…I can’t even begin to tell you, although I will soon.

One thing I can share is the educational sessions I will be presenting in Hamburg, Germany in a couple weeks.  The FESPA show which recently made it way over to America is a worldwide event and is ever popular in Europe.  I had the opportunity to attend this show last year in Munich and work the Stahls’ Europe booth.  It was an amazing experience to discuss the CAD-CUT Heat Applied Film needs and markets with our partners who sell in places such as  Egypt, France, Ireland and Greece to name a few.

I gained so much insight and have put much of the info gathered into use here in the US.

This year, I’m fortunate enough to be making the trip again.  The FESPA Fabric show will be back in Germany  but this time in Hamburg.  The thing I’m most excited about is joining industry veterans Scott Fresener and Charlie Taublieb in the Fresener’s Fabric Theatre with daily presentations.  It’s truly amazing to finally see heat printing take the stage at an event like this.

Afterwards, I will be sure to share my thoughts on what’s new and what’s up and coming in our industry…

I’ll also be sharing some HUGE news about a new product from Stahls’ CAD-CUT Direct.  The reason you haven’t heard from me as much lately is because we’ve been working super hard on finalizing the details of this product to bring it to market.
