National Take Your Child To Work Day – T-Shirt Project

April 26, 2013 by Josh Ellsworth

Technically yesterday was national take your child to work day…but I had my daughter Madalyn visit for a long lunch today and we did some t-shirt decorating. I wanted to share our finished product. Now let me give you some background on these shirts… The dance school she attends sells a shirt each year for the dance recital.  All of the kids wear them and apparently “bling” them up.  When I joined her at dance class the night she received […]

March 21, 2013 by Josh Ellsworth

I wanted to share a photo of my beautiful niece Delilah Jane wearing a personalized t-shirt. We made the onesie for her 1st birthday celebration which will be this Saturday:)  Customizing t-shirts for birthdays and other special events is a great opportunity.  For this design, my sister sketched out the concept and we recreated it with CADWORXLive.com.  Printing the cupcake on Express Print for the zebra pattern effect and then dropping the Pink Glitter Flake on top for the icing. Sprint to On-Site, Mass Customization with Heat Printing

March 5, 2013 by Josh Ellsworth

I wanted to share a video that shows the power of heat printing customization. No other technology, other than heat printing could have filled the need for on-site, mass customization at this event.  And of course, no other press other than a Hotronix could have offered easy Threadability™ for printing of back packs at such a fast pace.  CAD-CUT® Premium Plus is the purple material utilized in the video, cut on demand for each pack.  The black is a screen printed […]

Heat Transfer Vinyl – 5 Years Later on YouTube, 20+ Years Since Invention

September 7, 2012 by Josh Ellsworth

Over 20 years ago Stahls’ created the category now known as heat transfer vinyl.  The product was invented so businesses could cut graphics on a carrier and have them be pre-spaced in alignment for placement and application with a heat press onto a textile.  A lot of the folks at Stahls’ were around when this product category was invented, including Ted Stahl.  I can’t imagine the excitement and buzz of showing this product, and probably the challenges of explaining the […]

Given her interest in these, she (as well as my wife and I) enjoyed […]
