    Hi Josh,
I have a heat press that I’ve been using for a couple of months now, and all of a sudden, when I make a press, there’s a lot of dust that is in the image. I don’t see it on the t-shirt itself before printing, I don’t see it on the image, what can you suggest? Also, once or twice I had a brown smudge on the image as well. It’s not on the shirt before printing, nor is it on the paper image. Where is it coming from?

I welcome all ideas and suggestions. Thank you SO MUCH for all of your help.

    Hi Josh,
I watched your heat press video on youtube and I found this machine on Amazon — Powerpress- 15 X15 Digital High Press Sublimation Clamp Shell T Shirt Heat Press Transfer Screen Printing Machine 15 x 15 RED NE

It’s selling for $209. I just wanted to see what you thought of this product and if you would recommend it? I am attempting to make shirts and I don’t know how much everything is really going to cost with the transfer paper. Also, I’m sorry because I am new to this, but do I have to buy ink for this product as well or just transfer paper? (It’s not reusable either right??

Thank you for any help you can give me. I really appreciate it.

Hi, Josh, I watched your video clip on youtube doing the twill number 8 and then layering the vinyl heat press over it. I have an older Roland Camm-1 and I am wondering if you could tell me what size of blade I need to use to cut the twill and what to set the blade on. This cutter has numbers, 2-4-6-8 etc. on the side to set the blade. ALso, I have been told that this cutter will not work with my newer laptop. At the time, I have it connected to an older laptop which has windows XP. I actually bought a used Mighty press for $175 and the lady just threw in the Roland cutter for free. She had never used it as she got it when she bought alot of screen print equipment. Thanks for any info. Vicky

Hi Vicky -thanks for the comments and questions…I’m not familiar with this cutter, but if it steps up in force like the newer Roland I would guess that you need to be on a 6 or 8. I would recommend contacting Roland to see if they have a driver that may work for you…also here is a good place to post these questions to get answers from a community of folks, maybe someone will have the same cutter: http://www.t-shirtforums.com/roland-vinyl-cutters/
