Heat Press – Your Brand Can Go Tagless

Custom Tag It With A Heat Press and Digital Prints

When thinking about creating a custom tag for your clothing line, it is important to consider what you are trying to accomplish.  Many will argue back and forth as to whether a custom tag is important to your brand.  Whether or not this is true, here is a unique way to take your garments to tagless for less!

Traditionally a custom tag would entail ordering very high quantities from an apparel manufacturer or having your own label sewn in.  With these methods, the tag on every garment would have to be the same as each other tag in that lot.  How fun is that???

Well, I’m here to tell you that with a label heat press or a cap press you can begin ordering and applying your own tags to your tees.  Consider utilizing the Imprintables Digital Print Center to upload your custom design and order you tags today.  If the line of garments that you will be tagging will be a limited edition run, how about numbering each tag, like on the example: 1 of 50 or 2 of 50 or 3 of 50 etc. etc.  And to add to this, your tag can include as many colors as you would like for the same price.

If you’re looking for a great shirt thats ready to be tagged consider the Article.1 garments that feature a tear away tag for easy relabeling.

If you’re thinking that this heat transfer method is not going to measure up in quality to your standards…think again!!!  These custom digital prints are produced on an exlusive media with the use of Eco-Solvent inks and the Roland Versacamm Printer/Cutter.  These tags will probably last longer than your design will!

The feel on the garment after being tagged is very soft, and this media can apply to any color and any fabric.  So go ahead…if you can print it – you can tag it!

Video: Trimming Opaque Heat Press Transfer Paper With The Roland GX-24

10 Jan

Below is a video tutorial on using the Roland GX-24 vinyl cutter’s optic eye function for cutting around opaque heat press transfer papers. The design featured, is very simple graphic that will allow you to understand the process. This basic process, should eliminate the need for using scissors to trim around the design to eliminate the white border.

Feel free to post your comments and questions , I would be more than happy to help.
