Your Own Clothing Line With A Vinyl Cutter

29 Nov

A vinyl cutter is becoming a must have among clothing line owners, whether established or just starting out.  Vinyl cutters are being used by owners at least in the sampling process.  The vinyl cutter is ideal for this because you can cost effectively cut just one graphic and heat press it to the garment for sampling purposes the minute an idea is born.  This sampling method helps to limit inventory costs, until your line is actually picked up by a retailer.  In addition to just sampling, Owners are finding more ways to add distinction to their product by using a vinyl cutter and heat transfer vinyl to produce it.  Materials such as super suedes, twills, glitters, reflectives, foils and photo transfers have made creating unique, original graphics possible.

An owner can now have complete control over every aspect of their brand from conception to production.  Production and sampling is being brought in house in order to eliminate high costs & long lead times.

If an owner sells the line direct this is even more ideal.  No more losses on slow movers that inventory investments have been made into.  Now, stocking blank garments and printing on demand is feasible.

Adding a vinyl cutter to this type of business will allow one to put any idea on any shirt at any time.

Sporting Good Dealers And Vinyl Cutters

29 Nov

A vinyl cutter seems to be a natural addition to any sporting goods store.  Packaged with design software and a heat press, a cutter will give the store the ability to offer decorated uniforms.  Program/design names, numbers, logos & athletic tails in a graphics software, then send them to cut and then heat press them to your garment.  Now the possibility exists to create another profit center from an existing customer base!  Some dealers are ahead of the game and already doing uniforms in some form or another, so a vinyl cutter will help to reduce costs and put more profits in the pocket of the store.  No more, pre-cut names and numbers and or sub-contracting will be needed.  A vinyl cutter will allow this process to be done in house.  Sporting Goods/Uniform Dealers have found that by adding a vinyl cutter they can eliminate long lead times, offer more design/font/color options and most importantly gain complete control over the quality of product delivered to a customer.
